Look at all them scooters! Night time shot of the main walking street in Salerno Night time in Salerno Ciccio E L'Osteria - where we had our BEST dinner! The Pizza Flavio Gioia Very pretty. Cafe Cavour - our favorite bar in Salerno Note that the floor and stairs are all glass. Very slick. May Day at Pompeii. Column everywhere. Brick and mortar. Lots and lots of visitors. Large building. Many streets. They had many two & three story structures. Stray dogs roam freely in Italy... Not sure what this was for... Columns around a big courtyard. The courtyard. You can even TOUCH the paint... (!) Interesting ceiling work. Spooky. You could see the fold of fabric on his body. An ancient Roman crosswalk. Roman roof gutter. Amazing. Look how far it goes... So much tilework. Looked interesting, but no entry... The holes are for the second floor supports. Overview of a small neighborhood. Near one of the ampitheaters. I'm a stand in for a column... This Roman statue looks familiar... Original Roman plaque. There were fast food joints at every corner. Seriously. I really liked this shot. A place to meditate? Near the entrance to Pompeii.
