We went to have a look on the queue of the Regent Street Apple Store at midnight.
The opening will be today (20 Nov 04) at 10 AM. The temperature was cold, my
bad estimat 5-10 C.
There were maybe 350 people online when we got there at midnight, 400-450 when
we left at 2 AM. A lot of interesting people - no drunks. They looked all interested
and happy to be there, fun, doing stuff for the experience of it, real Mac fans
and for sure have later something to remember.
The first guy on the queue - site to his homepage on the picture texts, is a
guy from Texas who wanted to come to London to the store opening.. interesting
huh?
We saw a few people who might be interested in trying to get in Apple (to work)
.. well - we might be able to have them have a look on your resumes.. who knows
;)
While writing this it is 4 AM - time to catch a good 3 hours sleep, then join
the queue for 3 hours, and experience the rest of the joy. :)
