After 6 years in the Russian Defense Language Institute I learned to speak, read, write and think English. That is all I had to do for the next 20 years. |

I was an English translator and interpreter in Russia. In 1990, after relocating to the US I became a Russian translator. This was the only change in my professional life. No kidding, that's what I do for a living. You can read details on my company site, www.zima.net |

My wife also studied in a Defense Language Institute - in Monterey, CA. She was trained to interrogate Russians... Obviously she was a poor student, I still have a few secrets from her. :) |
