Mintage: 7,380,711. Date Acquired: 24 December 2004. Variety: F-116? About This Coin: This coin has a lot of original color and a bit of luster that I'm having trouble capturing. Mostly on the reverse, there is gold and champagne toning on the periphery that these pictures don't convey. There's a fair amount of luster on the rims, and if I were better at imaging, I might be able to get it to come out. The coin isn't a solid gray -- in the light you can see a lot of luster and the gold/champagne toning on the rims. I'm trying to attribute this one, but I can't with certainty; as it looks like a perfect die and it has no mintmark, I have to go by the date position. I think it might be F-116. |
