Mintage: 10,350,700. Date Acquired: 30 March 2005. About This Coin: I actually bought this one on eBay with marginal images, taking a chance. But I got what would be a good price if the coin was, as I suspected from the image, problem-free and close to original. It mostly is...it was likely lightly messed with years ago, but it's recovered nicely, and since I only paid about $13 for it, what the heck? I think this coin is probably F-118, but I haven't been able to ascertain that. In 1875, the Mint removed the arrows indicating a change in weight which they used in 1873 and 1874. |
