Mintage: 1,887,500. Date Acquired: 16 November 2005. Variety: F-106, probably an early die state. About This Coin: Nice, original problem-free coin that just makes the XF grade. Appears to be F-106; I can see horizontal die lines through the elbow on the obverse (near the device where it was protected) and the die scratch between the left wreath and the bow, all in the same spots that are diagnostic for F-106 -- as is the date position. However, I don't see the reverse die crack which Gerry Fortin lists for F-106. |
