Love
28/05/07 00:39

This photo was shot on the last day of shoot on Friday, showing an old uncle passing to his wife a small balloon. It was taken really fast without much NG, and we really enjoyed that shoot. It was a triumph of love between the couple, for we all could see the chemistry between them, even the laughter was real and all of us were touched by them. True love can be so simple at times...

Heroes

There's a
hero in each and everyone of you, what you need is just one chance
to stand out and do the things you can to help. You can get
distraught along the way while discovering what you can do, but a
hero does not start at the end.
Sounds familiar? Two lines from two different shows, both on helping and saving people. As for us, we are trying to be heroes...for the next generation of wannabes...

"where is our peanuts (money)!"
Time for some inspiration - our never satisfied greed of vitamin Ms...and some sleep....zzz...

Considering that I'm a novice in food
hunting, I realize I got quite picky taste buds.
Today was a good day. Dear brought me to this place called 味香园. The stuff is good, especially the 芝麻糊, sesame paste in english. Considering that I'm irked by the thick flavors that some stalls are selling, this worked out to be just nice, and half as sweet. Indeed, I probably will consider going back for more

The look of the shop from inside.

The menu itself
I just realized I forgot to add in the location. It's near one of the streets near to Chinatown's food street. One will be glad to provide directions, if needed

Yesterday once more

It is only upon graduation and
entering the work force that one suddenly feels that there is life
after work and studies, after all. Not to mention the financial
means to support gatherings and holidays. It is not that easy to
get along with people whom you've lost touch over the years, but if
they're good friends, you just need one drink and it feels like
yesterday was the only day that separated them from you.
Prof was talking about the times when he used to be a junior executive, where he toughed it through the night, till the end where people do it for him. And of course, his best man and friends asking to meet up with him, and his used-to-be subordinates. Though he might complain about the $300+ meal, I'm sure the chats and meet-ups more than cover up for the monetary headache.
Why isn't my phone ringing as much? I hope I'm not that much of a loser, ha, if only there can be a major gathering where the people/friends whom I have over the years just get by and sit down and chat with me. Must really try to sit down and relive the life of yesterday, once more.
People, please start calling me!!!

Mr 赛翁 and Murphy

They used to say
塞翁失马 refers to
something that might go wrong will turn out to be good.
I think Murphy's Law works out better.
These days seem to be depressing. Just as I was looking forward to getting better news, I've heard another news, which kind of throws me off.
Not very much, but still as significant.
Is this a good countdown to 25th birthday?
I need to be pro-active to create good news, but why can't things turn for the better, for once?
Shucks, I hate to lament...
