These is Bodie CA a former mining town. It is like walking back in time.
Prospectors went to Bodie to 'see the elephant' -look for gold.
Only 5% of the buildings that used to stand in Bodie still survive.
Bodie - Mine Tailings. Mining was really bad for the environment in California.
The Standard Mill. Now closed to the public because of danger of collapse.
