Animation

This is one of the many things that inspired me to come to Japan. I am quite a fan of Japanese animation. Here are some of my favorites.

I have recently discovered that some of my writings on the following pages have been plagiarized by operators of other sites. I would like to emphasize that all writings on this site are my own original writings. Please respect my rights and do not plagiarize!

Hayao Miyazaki

In simplistic terms, Hayao Miyazaki is the Japanese Walt Disney. The primary difference is that Miyazaki is far, far superior to Disney. It's difficult to explain, but you'll understand once you see his work! Above, poor Pazu is being tied up. But never fear! He's the hero! And the hero always wins!

Other guys

One of my favorite series! The first laserdisc I bought was an El-Hazard laserdisc. It impressed me from the very outset. I can watch this show again and again and it still makes me laugh! I can't ask for more than that.

Slayers

Click here for the George W. Bush home page...oh wait! That's a troll. I'm sorry. Honest mistake. Click on the smirking troll for another fine anime show, Slayers!

This troll is a still frame copied from my laserdisc player.

Gokudo has come to America!
