Private Photo Workshops

Private photo workshops and tours are a fantastic way get the most out of a photo workshop. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced photographer, I offer exclusive one on one tutorials that are tailored to your specific needs and goals.

I've been teaching photography and photoshop for 7 years. For beginners, I cover step by step instruction in the field to help you learn to capture gorgeous images on your own. I discuss everything it takes from DSLR functions, balancing exposure, metering, composition, filters, and much more. This instruction is done on location in some of the most exciting landscape locations which depend on season, weather, and your preference.

For intermediate and advanced photographers I offer more advanced in the field techniques, as well as discussions on advanced photographic principals like compelling composition, seeing, and preconception. I can offer as little or as much instruction as you want all while hiking to exciting locations. I can customize our itinerary, which could include multiple locations.

Private Photoshop Workshops

Private Photoshop workshops are the best way to get hands on instruction and master the the industry standard for photo processing. I offer lessons tailored to beginners as well as professional level photographers looking to improve their photoshop skills. I specialize in photoshop for photographers focusing only on the functions of photoshop that apply to photography. I've helped countless students realize their photoshop goals.

For beginners, I offer step by step instruction on RAW processing, basic photoshop enhancements, adjustment layers, sharpening, black and white conversions, preparing images for print and web, and much more. We will work side by side while I demonstrate these techniques, then you will apply the lessons yourself. These workshops are held at my home studio in Tigard, Oregon.

For advanced students, I teach professional level techniques such as masking, advanced selections, combining multiple exposures, actions and much more. I will demonstrate what I've done to create many of my award winning images and teach you how to achieve similar results.

Price: $50 per hour, or $175 for 4 hours
