Spring in the Columbia River Gorge - April 23rd 2011 This is a full day intermediate field workshop, focusing on mastering the technical aspects of photography while touring some of the most beautiful waterfall locations in the country. The Gorge has so many unique areas to photograph. The ultimate goal will be taking home beautiful photographs and gaining the skills to capture these kind of images on your own. I will be instructing participants throughout the day on photographic techniques and how best to capture images of these incredible locations. I will discuss everything from SLR camera functions, metering, exposure, composition and the use of photo filters. I will also offer feedback to anyone who is interested. Transportation, food, and lodging are not included. We may carpool in my van, but it's a good idea to have other transportation as well. Groups are limited to 4 people. Requirements: You will need a DSLR camera, preferably a wide angle lens, and a decent tripod. Some photographic experience is required as well. You should be able to work many of the functions of your camera already. A polarizing filter is also recommended. If you're looking for a beginning photo workshop check out my beginning landscape photography workshops. Price: $200 (deposit is required to reserve your spot) Availability: Limited to 4 participants For more information, or to reserve your spot email me: zackschnepf@mac.com
