My research interests center on the early evolution of Earth's biosphere and its interaction with surface environment, especially older than 2.5 billion years (Archean). For the better understanding of biogeochemistry of the early Earth, I have tried to integrate several independent approaches including stable isotope geochemistry (C and S), micro-paleontology, and field geology.
