Welcome to my new web log (aka "blog"). Read up
on some of my Open Source projects and contributions, and some of the things I'm
currently working on and thinking about. An introduction.

Welcome
to my web log (aka "blog"). My name is Brad Barclay, and I'm an Open Source
Software Developer based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. My main development project is
the jSyncManager, a
pure-Java data synchronization solution for PalmOS-based devices, used for years
by individuals and organizations world-wide to manage the data on their handheld
systems. However, I also administer and maintain several other Open Source
projects, including the Simple Java Server,
javax.usb on Mac OS
X , and TAPAS. In the
past, I've also contributed to other Open Source efforts, including the official
port of Ogg Vorbis to Sony Linux for the PlayStation
2.I'm new to the world of blogging. I
intend for this blog to act as a repository for my ideas and efforts on a
variety of development fronts, pushing new technologies in interesting
ways.To start, here is a quick list of
some technologies I'm currently interested in and am working
with: - Data

development, - Objective-C
Development - Mac OS
X - Linux (currently running Fedora Core 3
