When acclaimed Hong Kong dancer-choreographer Abby Chan first met leading Brazilian dancer-choreographer Otávio Bastos in NYC, both of them were totally amazed by the humorous connection between their body language, in spite of their diversity in spoken languages. The encounter sparked their close collaboration in this artist-in-residence scheme in New York - São Paulo

來自香港的居美舞人陳小姐, 第一次遇上從巴西來的 Bastos 先生時, 兩人正在紐約參與一個資深美藉舞蹈家的工作坊。
兩人說著不同的語言, 有不同的舞蹈訓練背景, 但身體語言的溝通反而奇妙地把兩人聯繫上來。
兩個身體一見如固, 就像失散了的舊朋友重逢一樣, 滔滔不絕, 完全明白對方體內發出的幽默。
工作坊完了, 但兩個身體似有說不完的話題還要分享, 因而誘發了這個巴西與香港身體文化雙拼嘉年華。
高大威猛的 Bastos 先生有深厚的巴西傳統舞蹈訓練, 近年多以獨舞創作, 揉合現代舞的表現方式, 用身體訴說現代人的故事。
身型高佻的陳小姐習舞於文化混雜的香港及紐約, 有豐富的文化交流和與不同藝術家合作的經驗, 常以敏銳的觸角舞動貼身的話題。
一男一女, 南美與東方,兩人均熱愛舞蹈和生活, 將以自己所愛的'語言', 分享他們永遠說不完的快樂頌, 來個 one night's dance。
