Futuretronics v GraphixThe Australian Copyright Council has a short note about Futuretronics' successful claim of copyright infringement against its former supplier of adhesive covers for iPods, mobile phones and the like ... Futuretronics.com.au Pty Ltd v Graphix Labels Pty Ltd [2007] FCA 1621. The infringing conduct related to publication of brochures. The claims related to the skins themselves and the tooling did not require resolution as the parties agreed on delivery up between themselves. It would seem, however, that the complaint about the skins was the use of the designs on the skins. Copyright Council note here; judgment here. Posted: Monday - November 12, 2007 at 05:59 PM | |
