IP Australia and online payments 

IP Australia has announced that it has launched a facility to enable trade mark registration and renewal fees to be paid online, using Visa, Mastercard or American Express. 

It says you need Adobe Acrobat version 7.0.8 to use the service (which might be a constraint on take up, given the price of that software), however, the form also has a button to download Adobe Reader and one seems to be able to fill in the form details using that.  (Please post a comment if, in fact, you find you do need Acrobat, rather than just Reader.)
