current draft - BETA .90.2 here as a wiki

[careful, a wiki is a web page that you, the user, can edit, according to Wikipedia, as part of a collaborative effort through an internet forum read more here] - BUT (and this is the more part) there is also a continuing discussion about what the wording is or should be for various clauses here. Bear in mind, however, (unlike most of those draft agreements the other side sends you to comment on) that while the technical issues are the same here (in Australia) the legal issues may be very different. For example, s 47H of the Copyright Act 1968 renders agreements that prohibit reverse engineering permitted by s 47D of "no effect". There is no statutory US counterpart to that, but clause 3 of the FEULA doesn't prohibit reverse engineering either. Posted: Thursday - 29 September, 2005 at 12:30 PM | |
