well-credentialled commentators have joined the growing overseas trend for
bloggers to merge (or do you coalesce) in cyberspace to bring us
LawFont.com "an analysis of law, technology,
economics and policy".
And to start things off, they try kicking sand into the face of CAL's submission to the Legal and Constitutional Affairs Committee's review of exceptions to TPMs - apparently CAL want to invoke Moses and the commandment that thou shalt not steal. and another post on the meaning of 'copy' triggered by an thoughtful history lesson from Prof. Patry here (while you're there, check out his post on the history of 'fair use' and the modern phenomenon of reading it out of the US copyright act - Robert Burrell also has a fantastic article on the impact of the codification of fair use as fair dealing in the 1911 Act in EIPR or IPQ.)
