Our drive from Georgia to Virginia
Drive from Madison, Georgia to
Amherst, Virginia.
We started out in Madison, Georgia,
and went on US 129 to Athens. From there we took US 441 to Commerce, where we
picked up Interstate 85 that we took to the South Carolina state
line.
We conitinued on I-85 through South Carolina, passing through Greenville and Spartanburg to the the North Carolina state line.

We stayed on I-85 through Charlotte and Greensboro, and at Greensboro took US 29 north to Danville, Virginia, and on into Lynchburg and the Amherst.
