P8150033.JPG

2yard Skeins of suffolk wool, spun, plied, and dyed. This is enough thread for a 5 yard by 36" wide warp. (This was my first spinning project on my spinning wheel so the quality of the spinning improves dramatically throughout the spinning. It should also be noted that almost all weaving in the middle ages was done using singles, not plied thread. I was new to spinning at the time and was influenced by modern spinning magazines.)
