The under-dress was sewn by Mistress Talana, M'lady Stacia, and myself. We used threads that had been pulled from the cloth and respun by Talana and myself on dropspindles. My thought was that a culture that spun and wove its own cloth would use the same thread for both. And indeed, using a self thread makes very invisible seams.
