Our Mission is to optimize the curiosity and creative spirit inherent in every child by drawing from a variety of techniques and disciplines of instruction to enable him/her to become a mature individual who will meet the challenges of life and make lasting contributions to society.
The Woodlands Academy Vision
We envision Woodlands Academy becoming one of the finest schools in
Colorado. We believe in continuously reevaluating and reformulating
the way in which a school is organized; redefining its focus and
emphasis; and interweaving the roles of parents, teachers, and students.
We believe the way in which these elements interact is integral
to our school's vision.
To accomplish our vision:
- Our program is solutions-based and emphasizes the application of knowledge and skills.
- Our four + one program provides a unique opportunity for students to practice time management skills.
- Small class sizes allow students to be more involved in their education.
- Our liberal arts approach gives students exposure to core academics and a wide variety of electives.
