All Work And No Play...I've been working 2 weeks straight, 7 days a week, trying to cover for
missing people at work and to get two new people trained (thus the lack of
recent posts). I think it's beginning to wear on me.
Last night I had a strange dream. In this dream, a unidentifiable man was lying on his back in bed in what looked like a private residence. At the foot of the bed, a doctor dressed in white scrubs and surgical mask took what looked like a stainless steel hacksaw and began to cut through the prone man's shinbone. Halfway through the procedure, the doctor put the hacksaw down, firmly grasped the shinbone on either side of the cut and snapped the leg in half, exposing splintered bone. Out of the broken bone green ooze slowly poured out. The now one-legged man reached down, scooped up in his hand some of the ooze that was forming a puddle on the previously clean sheets, brought it up to his mouth and poured it in. As he did this, the hacksaw man began to repeat the procedure on the man's second leg. That's when I woke up. Let's hear it for nightmares.... Posted: Sat - September 3, 2005 at 05:31 PM | |

I had a dream last night about a dog that was made out of grass. It looked like a cross between a Bull Terrier and Labrador, and it seemed very happy. It had deep expressive eye sockets, but no eyes. It was circling me, wagging its grassy doggy tail and staring up at me with its dark grassy eyeless sockets. Green drool was dripping off its grassy tongue and onto my shoes. Slowly, it began to change color. Splotches of tan spread across its body. The grassy tail stopped wagging. It turned, and the dog made of grass walked through the gate and into my backyard, where it laid down and died. Its green body had turned to the color of wheat. Apparently unable to hold the shape of a dog any longer, it now resembled a small pile of dead grass that was slowly being blown away by the wind.
