mugwump

This is a scene inspired by the William Burroughs book Naked Lunch, a work that has been popular in counterculture, the scene involves a mugwump and a boy involved in a very strange act together which I have nothing to say about, but for some reason I kept reading it as taking place on a stage in front of an auditorium,. but the confusion simply assists one in coming to terms with a first stage in getting the visualisation right. I hope to be able to comprehend the text of the Hassan's Rumpus Room in Naked Lunch properly. The film director David Cronenberg made a film version of Naked Lunch and referenced the scene by showing a small sculpture of the event that takes place between the mugwump and the boy in a shop window. As I am reading it now, it takes place in a rococo bar and the audience are sipping their coffees, but I couldn't see this as I was struggling to get the ideas together
