By the next summer , the fella's were
becoming a good draw in the local
music scene. Bevo twisted his mothers arm into fronting the cash to put
the group in the studio. So.... in late June of '86 they went to
Group Effort Studios and recorded their self titled E.P. for the
Hospital label. They released 500 12" EP's, with cover art by
Bevo.
Only 100 of these records saw thier way into the regional
outlets,
25 were sent away to distributors and 2 were sent to be reviewed... one
to Gerard Cosloy (of Homestead Records) and the other to Chuck Eddy
(Creem Magazine). The rest ?...were thrown
to audiences
over the next year or so.
Karl left for college in the fall of '86 and was replaced by many
different bass players until the band settled on Steve Schmoll in Jan.
of '87.
In late spring of that same year they penned another 6 tunes and headed
to Ultrasuede Studio to lay them on tape. These songs were never
released to the public... for good reason (until now!).
William left the band by the fall of '87 and Bevo took Dan with him to
form Human Zoo II. Spring of '88, this line-up recorded a slew of
tunes in Wood Studio's , but again, these recordings never made it to
the public ear.
In the latter part of '90, Karl moved back to Cincinnati and the band
reformed under the guise of Intercourse.
They played out for the
next six months or so... until William split to NYC.
