David Futon - is a record producer from the UK who relocated to Bangkok and continues to write and produce in his own newly-opened Riverhouse Studio.

He has been in a band since he was 13. A few of his school bands were called "Spectral Dance", "Bollocks Go bang!" and "Bop Tropical." David went to Manchester University and studied architecture and moved back to London to be in a band again.

During this time he worked as an art director in advertising. Every night he made music in his bedroom with friends. He gave up his advertising carrer on the same day they got signed to a major record label. His band was called Wubble U and they got to be record of the week on Radio 1 in the UK.

It was quite good in the end when they got dropped by their record label because they had made quite a lot of money and didn't have to give the record company any of it back. Instead they bought lots of nerdy studio equipment and about a million key boards and founded "Strange Weather Studios" in Greenwich South East London to invent Tech House.

One of his most recent projects is a compilation of original house music composed and produced by David and 10 of the most inspiring DJ's currently spinning here in Bangkok.

David has produced over fifty 12"dance singles over the last 10 years which have been sold worldwideunder the names of Housey Doings, Get Fucked, Pig Bwoy, Smart Alex, The Mingers to name but a few... He has also had the pleasure of working with the All Saints and Bryan Ferry amongst others...

..He's very clever.

Bee Futon - Bee rocked Bangkok's radio for 7 years with his show, "The Hive" on 95.5 FMX. He also writes a music column for The Nation newspaper. Bee often denies being a teenage star in Japan in the 80's boy band that looked like girls - Panache. But we have the pics.....He's very embarrassed.

Plenty more pics here
