World Bank Campaign, April 2007
WIT Principal Read Scott Martin worked daily providing crisis counsel to the World Bank Group Staff Association during the forced departure of Bank president Paul Wolfowitz in the Spring of 2007. Besieged by international attention and an extraordinary volume of media inquiries, World Bank employees fashioned a solution for themselves by adopting a blue ribbon-themed campaign to express support for good governance. The blue ribbon became the symbol of employee and management concern during the ensuing two months that at last saw Wolfowitz depart in June 2007.
