I am a computational primatologist interested in behaviour, evolution and morphology. I am actively involved in producing computer simulations of both living and fossil primates (and a few non-primates just for variety) as well as palaeontological and behavioural fieldwork.
You can find full details of all of this by following the Research link. This site also contains the full text of all my scientific publications. If you are interested in collaborating on any of these projects or think I might make a suitable PhD supervisor then please contact me.
I have been heavily involved in teaching primate and human evolution as well as biomechanics, functional anatomy and a few other bits and pieces. There are a selection of lecture notes available by following the Teaching link.
I have also produced a number of computer programs including the popular Palm Pilot program MacNoteTaker. These can all be found under the Computing link.
I also run the web site and edit the newsletter for the Primate Society of Great Britain. You can find out all about this by following the PSGB link. If you are professionally interested in primates then I recommend you check it out. |
