The Birds of Northumberland County

This web site contains a wealth of resources about bird records in Northumberland County, Ontario, Canada. Northumberland County is located on the north shore of Lake Ontario in eastern Ontario and is home to some prime birding, including Presqu'ile Provincial Park.

The web site contains checklists and species accounts for the 370 species seen in Northumberland County. It will also contain more detailed studies related to species distribution in Northumberland County.

Visitors to Presqu'ile Provincial Park can contribute to the database used for this site, and are encouraged to do so, by entering observations in the sightings book (which is separate from the sightings board) in the Camp Office parking lot. Please be sure to include your name and initials.
