We believe Mankind was created in the image of God. Adam and Eve were created to be a copy or replica of God that exhibited His essential nature. (Gen. 1:26-27)

We believe Adam's willful disobedience to God sold all of his descendents into bondage to satan, a bondage in which we manifest the essential nature of satan rather than of God. (Rm. 5:12, 7:14; Isa. 14:13; Rm. 1:28-32)

We believe that Jesus came to free us from this bondage, thereby releasing us once again to experience life as God intended us to live it. (1 Peter 1:18; John 10:10)

We believe we are born again by faith in Jesus and what He accomplished for us by His death, resurrection, and ascension. This new birth gives us new hearts that are good. The rebellious nature governed by satan we inherited from Adam has been crucified with Christ. We have been raised with Christ as new creations with the authority to resist satan and have him flee from us. (Ezekiel 36:26-27; Romans 6:1-11; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Js. 4:7)

We believe we cannot live the Christian life and are not expected to. Jesus will manifest the Christian life (the essential nature of God) through us as we choose to abide in Him. Abiding, we experience and exhibit His life through us to the Glory of God. (John. 15:1-11)

We believe the commandments of the New Testament are opportunities to experience Christ as life rather than obligations we must perform ourselves. (Gal. 2:20)

We believe we are at war. Our enemy seeks to prevent us from bearing the image of God, as we have been reborn to do. (1 Peter 5:8; John 10:10)

We believe we must gather together as a whole and in small groups to encourage and edify one another because of the viciousness of this warfare. (Hebrews 10:23-25; Acts 2:42, 2:46, 20:20)
