Because I will. Tyre, that is.
Ok. Everything's back up and running. I still spend most of my time updating the blog. I'm wondering if I pulled a really lame site design. Fidgeted with the style sheet generated by iBlog. It is still a little off, but I figure it's good enough for government work.
Having a totally separate page for stories, tales, essays, and general brain farting seems dumb . Almost as dumb as having a navigation pane with only two real working items, so I'm moving them on up. It's promotion time!
Tales
These are works of fiction, tall tales, incomplete thoughts, maybe even a shopping list or two. Who really knows? Some of them have points. Some might not. Lots of questions.
I think I'm pretty close to almost having a mildly firm belief that I owe some of the ideas contained herein to others. Who in turn, owe theirs to someone else. I vow that anything you may find is at least as original as I could humbly hope to make it.
From what I can gather, our stories have generally shared the same basics for millenia. The only difference lies in the telling. Hopefully some of these are well told. Enjoy.
- A Boy and His Dog
This definitely isn't the happiest story ever written. No, I'm not a puppy killer.
Memories of the DarkA little ghost story. Have always hoped to go back into this one for a little more.
A Call to ArmsThis is pretty dated. It started out as a totally different story. The one about Frannie. I morphed it into a Stephen King knock-off in an attempt to create a serial killer character. Stamps are no longer 29 cents. Luckily, that doesn't bother me as much as it did. It should.
Stay tuned.
