My Family Tree
Over the last 12 years I have compiled a history of both my and my wife's families. You may search the combined surname list. The entire tree contains over 1670 individuals and over 1190 families. I am still searching several of the lines and will update these pages as often as possible.
Quest for my past
When I started computerizing my family tree I used Gene by David and Diana Eppstein. This is a great shareware program well worth the $10 fee. After about a year and a half my tree had outgrown the program, I needed to produce more complex reports and trees. After reading many reviews and trying all the demos I could, I decided to use Reunion by Leister. This program is very flexible and allowed me to import the data I had already compiled. To create the family web pages I used a combination of techniques. Most of the family pages were hand written and edited from my files. Reunion 7.0 has some amazing capabilities, you can even create relative trees. They contain all people related to a person, including ancestors, descendents, and in-laws. I would recommend it to anyone!!
