Your Petitioners Peter Carbono and his wife Charlotte otherways called Ke tha ko or Ke ja ko of the County of Brown Wisconsin Territory ??? that your Petitioner Charlotte alias Ke tha ko or Ke ja ko is the daughter of a Winnebago Indian by the name of Sac De Medicine and that said Charlotte is now the wife of your Petitioner Peter Carbono. That the said Charlotte is a half breed Winnebago woman.That your Petitioners are the father and mother of Charlotte Carbono the younger of the age of five years a female infant. That Caroline Harney is the daughter of Wlm S. Harney a white man and that she the said Caroline is of about the age of ten years. That your Petitioners aver that the said Infant children Charlotte and Caroline are now living with and supported by the said Peter Carbono and his wife your Petitioner Charlotte or Ke tha ko or Ke ja ko.That your Petitioners have rendered valuable and important services and ??? ??? to the Winnebago Indians at various times.
Your Petitioners ask for the distrubuition shares of your Petitioner Charlotte or Ke tha ko or Ke ja ko of the Half Breed Fund under the Winnebago Treaty to be paid them, being ???? and ????? parents to ???? the fund for their infant children ?????? August 31st, 1839.
