Sailing in the Mediterranean
I took sailing lessons this year... and after driving from Istanbul we headed out for 2 weeks of sailing on the Mediterranean.

Our home for 2 weeks...the 32 ft. "Nipper"
Where are we? Navagating was fun and exciting for both Kristine and I.
Our little cabin
Captain Brian...
...and 1st mate Kristine
we made many stops in bays like this one and had wonderful local food.
At "Wall Bay" we took an awesome hike up over our mooring spot.

...an early morning start for a 30 mile journey to Kalkan.
Rough winds made for tough sailing in Kalkan we hit 30 knot winds!
Dinner in the town of Kalkan
Beautiful nights, spectacular food, and great company!
A hearty sailors breakfast... a hunk of bread :)

"Gulet" boats were everywhere and made for crowded moorings
Mediterranean mooring means that often you are this close to the shore
