Cairns After Sydney, we flew to Cairns to spend new year's eve diving on the Great Barrier Reef.

Are we ready?... ok ...down we go! Giant sea cucumber...yech! Brian check's his compass to make sure we are on track! looks like a little puppy! stag coral parrot fish bat fish sting ray....watch out for the tail a playful green turtle We finally saw our first shark! This one's a white tipped reef shark. Just me being goofy with the camera...woah! back off Keith! Kristine floats comfortably at 22 meters! Getting out is a lot harding than getting in! I'm kicking Keith's butt at cribbage! We rested comfortably in this aircon room between dives We all look pretty stupid under water... The one dive I didn't go on and they see all of the bumphead parrot fishes! New years eve on the dive boat was incredible! The dive boat provided champaign.... ...we watched the sun go down and celebrated the new year's under a starry night
