Statins Over The Counter
In July the UK became the first country in the
world to permit the sale of cholesterol-lowering statins to be sold over the
counter. (Reuters Health Information 29 July 2004)
Interesting is it not that at the very time that
vitamin and mineral supplements ( in safe daily use by millions for decades )
are under threat from European legislation our government legalises the use of a
commercial product with a comparatively short history. Anyone smell a
rat?
