Print & Advertising

London South Bank University - Tube ads, corporate literature; RAC - leaflets.
Agency: Windmill Partnership - Brook Green, Hammersmith, London.

Over the last 3 years I have managed the design and advertising brief for LSBU, a fast growing modern university based in south London. I took over the account on joining Windmill in 2003 and, working with a media planner and copywriter, oversaw the successful re-branding of the University with an ambitious new identity and ad campaign which has contributed to a marked increase in student applications and public awareness. As Studio Manager with responsibility for design and management of print, press and outdoor advertising the role has given me the opportunity to gain experience working with people across the industry in a wide variety of media and skills. Other clients I worked with included RAC, Capio Healthcare, and Old Mutual Bank.

Specific Projects: HR advertising - The Guardian & Evening Standard;
Outdoor Media - London Underground/London Bus ads, Viacom billboards;
Corporate Identity - Internal marketing manual, campus signage, internal literature.

Visual Identity & Illustration

Logos: Millennium Prize; First Joint; BMI Healthcare; Crisis; VoIP.
Agency: Windmill Partnership - Brook Green, Hammersmith, London.

As the lead designer with Windmill, I have worked on many logo and identity design briefs within the medical, IT and charity sectors. Briefs included the design of all marketing literature for The Lister Hospital London and logo development for BMI Healthcare divisions. I also had the opportunity to work with the homeless charity Crisis, producing campaign literature and branding for the "Urban Village" project in Shoreditch.

Web design & Flash animation

Clients: Capio Healthcare, Advance learning.
Agency: Windmill Partnership, Interactive Services, Advance Learning.

In 2001 I joined Advance Learning, a Galway based web agency, as a Flash designer developing interactive online training courseware for Microsoft and helped develop their online training products.

I continued to gain experience in web and multimedia design and project management when I moved to for Interactive Services in Dublin, where as lead designer I oversaw the development of Flash animated graphics for e-Learning courses as part of a team of designers, writers, programmers and sound editors. Clients included Lucent Technology, Cisco, Vodaphone and Ericsson and briefs involved translating detailed technical procedures into easy to understand, user friendly websites.

In my most recent position with Windmill, multimedia projects have included identity guidelines CD-ROM for Capio Healthcare and website design proposals for many of our client microsites.
