Update: Since it is almost 1 year since we all visited Korea I felt that maybe since I had some time I should e-mail everyone and say Hi. This would also provide a link for everyone else. I have changed my address since I last made contact with you all. I’m now at a brand new school called Wentworth College. If you want to see a school being built in a hurry check out www.wentworthcollege.school.nz My personal e-mail is now share@wentworthcollege.school.nz I would love to hear from you all.

Remember if you ever get down to New Zealand I’d love to see you. Now that I’m at a private school perhaps some of my ESOL children could look at being pen-pals with your ESOL children. I have 7 from Korea and 2 from Japan at the moment. Although we’ve only been open since February and I’ve closed the roll to Korean otherwise I’d have 50 Korean at least.

Hi my name is Shellee Hare and I'm Head of Department (HOD) of English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) at Westlake Boys High School in Auckland New Zealand. Westlake Boys High School is a prestigious school for boys only. It is New Zealand's second largest boys' school with a roll of over 1800 students. Students come from all over the world to study at Westlake Boys High School.

Westlake Boys High School is in a privileged position, very near to the sea with many beaches and it is located on the North Shore of Auckland City which is known as the 'city of sails', with 1,000,000 people living around its beautiful harbor.

Our city has a pleasant climate with mild winters (12-19°C) and warm summers (21-30°C).

My time in Korea has been a truly memorable experience. I have met many people whom I'll never forget for a variety of reasons. In saying this I know many distinguished educators will also never forget seeing 'snakes' carried into the soccer stadium at Posco.

I look forward to hearing from many of you in the near future. Yeah yeah yeah.

Kind regards

Shellee Hare
