Before entering the grotto, visitors traditionally wash their hands in the fountain in order to cleanse impurities of the outside world. They also rinse their mouth with the water as a symbolic gesture of cleaning ones words. |
| The Bulguksa Temple was first built 1300 years ago. It has been destroyed and rebuilt several times. It is presently a working temple. The priest was teaching how to leave your present character so you can go out to do kind things to others. |

| During our bus drive the very efficient Korean police clocked our bus going over the speed limit. We were stopped and there was NO getting around the ticket. It seems there is very equal distribution of justice in Korea. Since our driver was trying his best to get us to our appointment on time we took up a collection to to help him pay for the ticket. He is a good man. |

Hyundai Motors makes cars. Roles of steel enter the plant and emerge from the other end as cars. The Hyundai message: We want to be among the top 5 auto manufacturers in the world. The plant we visited employs over 25,000 people in two shifts. It is highly automated and the plant can produce over a thousand cars per day. The plant is built beside their own shipping dock so the cars can be driven directly onto huge car carrying ships and delivered anywhere in the world very efficiently. |

Hyundai Heavy Industries among other things operates the largest ship yard in the world. 23,000 employees work a single shift to make ships some over 1,000 feet long. |

been pre-assembled. Each little piece weigh over 200 tons.
