Well as you can see
from the flag, I come from the U. K. and am originally from Wales! I teach
in a large multicultural nursery and infant school(3-7 years) in Kingston-
Upon-Thames, South West London and currently we have approximately 15%
Korean pupils in our school. When my head teacher asked me if I would
like to visit Korea as part of an education conference I was so excited
and even more thrilled when I was accepted. This is my first time in an
Asian country! My Korean parents told me to have an open mind when I My reasons for visiting
Korea is to get a better understanding of Korean people, their culture
and their views on education. Also I hope to learn some of the language!
I then hope to share my experience of Korea with all my staff members
when I return to the U.K! I have met so many
lovely people on this trip who have made me feel so welcome and I hope
that we can all stay in touch by e-mail and maybe through `holidays`.
I hear that Australia, Canada, New Zealand Brazil and America are very
nice places! I also want to thank you all for making my 30th birthday so memorable. I loved my surprise icecream cake, all the singing and token pressies! Hope everyone had a safe journey back home. Looking forward to seeing any `interesting` photos on the web site! Take care! Angela (the squirrel
