It is with pleasure that we reconfirm the running of the Final Round of the Australian Sidecar Championships will be held at Barbagallo Raceway Wanneroo on November 7-8-9th.

We look forward to seeing you all at the event which is part of the Kings of Wanneroo International! with guest riders from the UK, Ireland and NZ attending to compete in the Superbike class.
Tuesday evening November 4th will be the Official Welcome Function at Burswood on Swan commencing approx. 6.30pm. Tickets on sale shortly.

Qld Sidecar Happenings - from Dave Warne
It has been a great past fortnight with two
excellent meetings at Qld Raceway and also the QLD Titles at
Warwick.
Thanks to everyone for the support and contributions to the Doug Chivas Fire Appeal. The total raised was $2,810.00 which Mick Alton has taken back to Sydney to give to Doug this week. I have just spoken with Doug and he expressed his deepest thanks to all. (If there is anyone who missed out on the raffle but would like to contribute, we are still taking donations).

The 2007 A.G.M. minutes were read and adopted.
The President thanked all previous Committee members and helpers for the past year.
Financial report. The Club made a profit of $600.78.for the past financial year.

2008 NEW SOUTH WALES ROAD RACING CHAMPIONSHIP - Eastern Creek
International Raceway 13 & 14 Sept 2008
Kevin Hartup would like to clarify that entries
for this event are open to all classes of sidecars (except
Classic).
You'll note that while the entry form specifies F1 only, entries will in fact be accepted from all classes (except Classic) up until Tuesday 9th Sept 2008.
From Terry O'Neill: This event at Eastern Creek Raceway is being run one month prior to the final round of the 2008 ASC at the same venue. Apart from the final round of the ASC in October this is the final time in 2008 competitors will have the opportunity to compete at Eastern Creek Raceway this year.

Thursday Aug 28th, asking if they could ascertain how many sidecars would
be interested in being the support class for the World Superbikes at
Phillip Island in March 2009

They've been advised that field would comprise eligible F1 & F2 sidecars & the promotor would expect a full grid.

complete.
Wayne says it hasn't been started in ten years, but for those of you looking for a project, it has a spare fibreglass body and steel frame. Also has some spare brackets and wheels as well.

The Top End Road Racing Association is holding a
beat the winter race in Darwin 25th - 27th July 2008.
They are keen to see some sidecars up there if any of our members are interested. There is prize money on offer, an AirFence and a very nice track.
