Underwater Explorers Middle East (UEME) was formed, with the objectives of promoting and providing diving opportunities and training for all level of divers whilst maintaining the highest standards. The club strives to maintain a congenial atmosphere. The underlying principles of BSAC and DIR are adhered to.
UEME conducts its diving operations from Muscat's Capital Area Yacht Club, (CAYC).
What can UEME offer?
Weekday and weekend dives, trips and expeditions to local and remote wrecks, reefs, beaches and other interesting destinations, night, deep, drift, and wall dives, scientific and project orientated dives, entry level through advanced including mixed gas diving using both BSAC and GUE curriculum.
BSAC and GUE training are widely recognised as being the leading two agencies in sport diving today. Each caters for and excels in different aspects of the sport, by working with the two agencies we're able to offer the very highest standards training. The Qualification Record Book that you'll earn will be your passport to worldwide diving.
This is a club run by its members, for its members - every body contributes in whatever way they can to the running of the club.
