I have a different diving qualification, do I have to cross over?

For insurance purposes non-BSAC divers are restricted to being guest divers and are limited in the number of times they can dive with the club. However the club recommends that all members take out additional independent insurance, (DAN is recommended), this allows continuous diving. On joining UEME you will receive a Statement of Alternative Training (SALT) according to the following equivalency table.
