What
else I need to know?
The
minimum age for diving is 12 years old but anyone below the
age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
This is a club run by its members, for its members - every
diver must help prepare the boat, load the kit, clean up
afterwards, or contribute in whatever way they can.
How
do I become a member?
The
Diving Officer will give you a New Members Pack. If
you’ve never dived before you will be put on a
waiting list for basic training and contacted just before
the course is due to start.
If you’re already a qualified diver then you simply
complete a check out dive, fill in all the forms and pay
the fees required. You are then a member of UEME and of
BSAC, the largest diving club in the world! You are
entitled to unlimited use the club facilities, are
automatically covered by third party liability insurance
and will receive the monthly BSAC magazine.
IMPORTANT!
Diving with UEME is fantastic. Only come if you plan to
have fun!
