Approaching Watercolor

Right away, I found that I had an

affinity for color and simplicity.

The paintings are probably a

refection of my work with dance

and Zen combined with a desire to

allow the subjects to speak for

themselves. I usually sit quietly

with what ever I am going to paint

before doing a finished painting

very quickly. Other times, I make

many studies to learn more about

my fascination with the focus of

my attention. It's always a process

of discovery and an undeniable

pleasure.
