Quick piece of trivia, when the Islanders played here in the 80s, they had a spry young left fielder that wore the #17. That left fielder went on to be called up by the Pirates and began hitting homeruns like no one's business. While many people question the accomplishments of Barry Bonds, no one can deny that he rocked the #17 proud at Aloha Stadium.
