Ásbyrgi canyon in the morning sun

This is taken from the head of the canyon. The hill in the middle is Eyjan.
The view into the canyon from the top of the cliff behind is superb and one we were looking forward to seeing.
Unfortunately when we got there the afternoon before we could hardly see it because of the snow blowing in our eyes.
However this day - later we walked Vesturdalur then came back here - was amazing, and hot.
