Gloppa - the gorge seen from near Kúahvammar

Dettifoss is about 15 miles upstream.
Now the weather was packing up. It was cold and starting to snow - and we were at the furthest point from the car!
The paths were easy, but near the end of the walk at the head of the Ásbyrgi canyon there was one very nasty scramble.
