Jarlshof and Catpund
Jarlshof is the remarkable archaeological site at Shetland's southern tip where there was continuity of settlement from the Stone Age until the sevententh century. Catpund steatite quarries at Cunningsburgh had long use, especally in Viking times when the soapstone was carved out of the rockto make containers. Click here to start side-show in new window.
