| About Me | Pastor Jeffery Warner (the preacherman) is a called and ordained servant of the Word in a dual-ministry, as Missionary-at-Large to the Omaha Tribe of Nebraska and as sole pastor of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church and School, rural Bancroft, NE. He earned his M.Div. at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, MO in 1995.
His theological focus tends to be on exegetical theology, stronger in New Testament than Old. He's a perpetual student of Luther, C.F.W. Walther, the Book of Concord and the history and structure of American Lutheranism. A perpetual student, mind you, not an expert.
With B.S. in English, a fascination with American culture, and a stable of trustworthy Macs littered through his little white house on the hill, Warner has written and maintained Spirit and Life (with a few brief technological interruptions) since September, 2001.
